In order to enrich the learning contents of students majoring in environmental engineering and expand their horizons,Northwest University has cooperated with Shaanxi Xinyu Surface Engineering Co.,Ltd.to carry out off campus research activities and organize teachers and students to come to our company for training and learning.
At 9 a.m.on the 12th,students majoring in environmental engineering have successively arrived in the conference room.At the meeting,after Xinyu staff member liuyamei and Minister Liu made an opening speech,Xinyu chief engineer Wang liaoliao started the training work on that day.
In the first half of the training,President Wang first analyzed the differences between theoretical study and practical work in the environmental engineering industry for the students,then introduced the development history of the environmental protection industry and the importance of environmental protection,and finally combined the company's actual cases,listed the company's success and failure cases in the project and analyzed the reasons.
In the second half of the training,President Wang integrated into the engineering drawings of some projects of the company and introduced the equipment,process flow,environmental protection supervision,desulfurization and denitration,dust removal process,etc.of such projects to the students in detail.After the training meeting,the students showed great interest in the environmental protection industry and kept raising various questions.President Wang gave detailed answers to the students'concerns one by one.
"Life is education, society is school". The visit not only enriched the learning contents of students majoring in environmental engineering, enabled them to learn more about environmental protection, exercised their learning ability outside the classroom, enhanced their social practice experience, but also made them feel the difference between the actual work and the theory of environmental engineering.
In recent years, Shaanxi Xinyu Surface Engineering Co., Ltd., as an industry university research demonstration base of Northwestern University, has continued to deepen the friendly cooperative relationship with Shaanxi Xinyu, continuously expanded off campus curriculum resources, encouraged students to go out of the classroom, and greatly stimulated teachers and students of the school of environmental engineering to explore the environmental protection industry by carrying out vivid social practice courses in enterprises.
